This is one of the best pH Down products that I've used. With most I need to use 6ml per gallon to bring it to 5.5-6.5 from 8.0. With this I use 1ml per gallon, then every couple days I only have to add literally a few drops to keep it from going out of range. Actually the highest I've seen it go was 6.3 over 10 days. It holds way better then most. As most I need to reuse 6ml a gallon every 24hrs to keep it within range. And I mean it would be at 7.5 after 24 hrs.
At first i thought this stuff was garage because I could literally watch my pH rise right back up after adding the pH down. This was because the city puts pH buffers in the water to keep it from being acidic. Since using an RO system removed the pH buffers, the pH down works great. It has a higher viscosity than water. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS STUFF, its 55% phosphoric acid. Do not get this stuff of on you
2.5 ml per 19 litres gets my towns water down to 6.25 ph perfect for growing cannabis. Compare this to 13 ml being required on other brands I've used. Very strong so the exact measurement is needed otherwise you will go too low and that is frustrating.
I have not actually used this product yet. I have been using a salt based ph down. I wanted to switch to a phosphor based pH down.Advanced Nutrients is a good nutrient manufacturer, I am sure this will meet their standards.
USE GLASES, USE GLOVES..get a friend to do it for you!Math, (500 Ml water bottle - 30 ml water+ 30 ml PH DOWN)Then used about 10 ml of the 500 ml in a 5 gallon water bottle that was 7.1 Ph, brought the Ph to 4.5.
Amazingly concentrated! I only need two tiny drops in 4L to bring it down to my desired water pH for watering my tropical house plants! This container is going to last a lifetime at that rate! Great value!
I have yet to try this ph down I have the full lineup of advanced nutrients so should have no issues I’m sure. If not they have a money back guarantee so have nothing to loose
Im using a carbon filter so my PH is off the charts in the 8s-9s this stuff only takes 1 drop of ph down to 1 litre of water for perfect PH for what im doing 💪
Only need a ml for a 5 gallon pail and a couple drops every couple days to keep it in range
