Maybe I did not follow instructions properly or there is a trick to cloning branches of plants.

I tried it and was not impressed. I attempted to clone 8 of my Thai chili pepper branches and none survived.

I cut the stems on a 45 angle, dipped couple inches in the solution, stuck em in peat moss pucks, placed in humidifier dome, misted for a few weeks. They all just wilted and died. Maybe the peppers weren't meant to be cloned, who knows but it didn't work as advertised for me. You guys may have beterr luck.

Mint is a classic to propagate with a cutting in water. Typically I see a few roots on a mint after 5-7 days in water. 4 if I’m lucky.

After 1 day I noticed the stubs (picture 1), then day 2 I noticed LOTS of little nubs. This stuff REALLY works. I’m trying it with anything now.

It has the consistency of syrup. It does not drip after being dipped.

The best Cloning Gel

Clonex makes the best cloning nutrients, i use their solution in my aeroponic cloner to great success, and this cloning gel is also just as excellent, this one really clings to the stem where the other brands seem to wash off right away n the cloner. they all wash off, but this one seems to stay on MUCH longer, which means more minerals and cloning hormone will permeate the stem than with the others. which means a faster and healthier cloning process.

100% success rate with clonex

I had 100% success rate. 12 cuttings all 12 rooted. Excellent product. Make sure you have at least a 7” humidity dome. All my cuttings were from the bottom of my plants. Dipped in clonex as soon as they were cut, and put into a PH balanced plug. Then I Cut the tips of the leaves. I had roots in 4 days. Good luck! Happy gardening.

Awesome product. I had to cut clones before this item arrived since my garden was getting a little too tall. I put the snippings in my cloner and after 10 days nothing. Then this arrived, 5 days after applying to the stem roots began. Was able to plant them in dirt 7 days after that and they are all healthy veggies.

Explosive root development

Absolutely fantastic I made about 230 clones and my success rate was in the 90% the ones that didn't make it was not always due to it not rooting. The root development was explosive as long as the bottom of the tray is warm. I had a thick bed of roots after just a week and a half on most

Takes the tiniest little amount of gel to clone. I thought $30 for 100ml was a bit much but after using it and assuming you can use all you pour out each time, I bet this little bottle could handle over 1000 clones. It is Extremely thick purple goo that clings very well to the stems.

Well, so far it has not work well for me. I have tried it on quite a few plants, but it does not seem to make a big difference whether I put it or not. I have tried it on clematis and it's ok but without it is ok as well. I have tried it on wisteria cuttings and none survived.

Do I "really" need it?

I did not see much difference when cloning if I used this product or not. I cloned 4 cuttings with it and 4 without it and all had approximately the same root development. I suggest to try cloning without it unless you don't mind spending 30$ for " just in case" scenario.

It's ok. I just find it frustrating that this product comes in such a tiny bottle and will be gone after the first 2-3 cuttings! Will get the powder next time as I have had success with it in the past. Thanks.
