This nutrient powder causes my nutrient solution to become highly acidic. I'm not sure of the chemical processes which are causing that or if there is anything the manufacturer can do to have the mix be more basic when mixed into water, but wow... I have to use a ton of hydroponic PH raising solution to balance the mix to 5.5 to 6PH. We're talking bright deep red when I test this stuff after adding it in. With liquid-based nutrients, it doesn't change PH that much... but this stuff does. So make sure to buy enough of the PH raising solution to go with this. You'll use maybe a cup per 8 gallons or more... from mixing in only 8 teaspoons of this stuff. Yikes.
So far everything is fantastic I don't even see the slightest yellowing on any of the leaves of the vegetables that I am growing... Great product I definitely recommend it!
No scooper included in package. Lid not resealable, product may get hardened by elements of weather, etc.
I have used this in my hydroponic green houses for years and it is great.
I like the powder. Just add water. Great for growing medicine.
