Five stars, great value and arrived on time

Excellent soil and lots of it. Arrived on time. Very happy with this seller.

Update:

Two very large plants in 5 gal pots each. No nutes at all. One 5 gal pot filled all the way with this soil and one filled only halfway.

In week 2 of flower, the plant in the full 5 gal pot is beautiful, green and flowering in half of a 4 by 4 tent.

The second plant in the half-full 5 gal pot is the same size but has been yellowing - looks like a nitrogen deficiency.

My batch of soil was not nitrogen heavy as another user described.

The soil is excellent though. I should have used 5 gals for each 5 gal bag.

The soil seems to auto-PH itself. I have not been PHing my water at any point and I have very hard water.

My plants are so happy now! I noticed a difference within a few days. Leaves were perking up and looked brighter.
I've been trying to turn my black thumb to green over the past year and have mostly success. But lately I've noticed a lot of issues with their leaves.
I've never known much about fertizer and such but I think the old reused dirt and old fertilizer had both lost their nutrients. So I ordered a plant meter, some new fertizer, and this dirt, along with a plant light.
I gently replanted my houseplants in the new dirt and now have them on a healthy schedule of fertizing and light.
Thanks for the inspiration to do better. Will definitely recommend and will be back for more!

This is nice if you are going to be buying dirt (ahem, potting soil).

HOWEVER, I will be switching to a different mix until/unless they replace the sphagnum peat moss because it is not easily renewable/sustainable. It's very bad for our wetlands to mine it (they usually completely eliminate parts so that they can harvest it dry), and also takes away one of the greatest carbon sinks.
As with everything, the price has really increased in the past few years. Nice dirt in my pots is not more important to the environment

If you need to fill an entire raised garden bed, this will not be the best economical solution. But If you want to sprout food seeds indoors, during winter or spring - this is the best choice in quality organic soil. Great for all types of transplanting into containers. Guarantee your seeds will pop fast with proper light and water, and by using this product. No other additives are needed. No additional fertilizers, mycorrhizal or warm casting needed. Been using for over a decade and we will only use this brand.

Always wanted to try this soil. 5 stars for early delivery and 5 stars for covering it and arriving with no tears. I'm sure it'll be good stuff. Thank you.
EDIT: Transplanted one houseplant and has grown well since I transplanted it a while back. I also grew one Blueberry x Mazar auto from seed with zero added nutrients and just plain tap water. It's doing pretty good.
I still got enough soil for another 2.5gal grow. It holds water well so be careful with overwatering.

Ever wonder why ocean forest does not work indoors? Because of that crab meal, that feather meal, that oyster meal ALL decay to death in 3 weeks after you use the soil which works if your planting OUTSIDE, outdoors, whereby all those meals can be refreshed by mother nature BUT YOU CANNOT refresh dead meal in your soil in doors, so if you got to buy ocean forest POT OUTSIDE or use a REAL hydroponic soil (growing medium is what they call it).

To the people complaining about it not being 42 lbs

This is for the people that have complained that it is not 42 lbs of soil, the issue is you did not read correctly. It says on the add and clearly printed at the bottom section of the label that it's 42 LITRES not 42 lbs. Also you can buy this same soil in physical local stores for under 30 , just check google. Don't pay the 120% that this seller charger to give you "free shipping"

I gave 3 stars because I got the same size bag at my local farm and home store for half the price. But otherwise I would highly recommend this mix to anyone who like green growing things, works for carnivorous plants, cannabis, so far I haven't found any plant not to take to this mix. I love I will keep using it Forever!

Awesome soil. Very airy, smells good, feels good, and I’m having fantastic results. Although I under watered a little at the beginning and noticed some signs of excess nitrogen, a quick flush before bloom seems to have gotten me back on track. I’m getting great results with no added fertilizers necessary

Ive been using this stuff for a while now, and due to COVID, I order most of my stuff these days. I usually get this from my local garden center, but not going out right now. The price is the same, free shipping on a large product like this is great. Sell was great as well.
